JASON AND TRICIA PANTZER

JHP has been a community and home for our daughters Amanda and Lauren during their years at Penn, and we hope will be the same for our daughter Caroline, when she embarks on her first year in the fall. Through its community service, mentoring, and social enrichment facets, our daughters have grown as strong members of the Jewish community at Penn. They have been leaders, mentors, organizers, and participants in a wide range of activities including challah bakes and Shabbat Unlimited. As members of the JHP Board, they have learned leadership skills and have grown personally while at the same time fostering their Jewish identity. We applaud JHP for its continued engagement with students at Penn and are grateful our girls will leave Penn with a strong commitment to their Jewish values and traditions. We are thrilled they will have a community of JHP alumni to connect with for years to come.

MARK AND VIRGINIE COHEN

We proudly support the Jewish Heritage Program (JHP) at the University of Pennsylvania because of the meaningful impact that we know from firsthand experience, that it has on Jewish students on campus regardless of their level of Jewish knowledge or observance. JHP plays a crucial role in fostering a strong sense of Jewish identity and cultural heritage and encourages students to engage meaningfully with Jewish traditions and values. Supporting JHP means investing in the future of young Jewish leaders, fostering a vibrant community, and ensuring the continuation of Jewish heritage and values for generations to come.

RYAN JOSEPHSON

I am so grateful to have been involved with JHP since my freshman year at Penn nearly a decade ago. Serving as a devoted member and later as president was an experience I’ll always cherish. JHP offers a powerful sense of Jewish belonging, purpose, and community — a place for friendship, mentorship, and meaningful engagement both on and off campus. I remain a proud supporter of JHP and its mission to strengthen Jewish life and connection.
